Samantha was initially led to yoga five years ago for stress relief but after losing over 60 lbs. in 2013 she discovered PIYO. She fell in love with the challenge of combining cardio, strength and flexibility training in one class. After taking classes for almost a year she received her certification in the spring of 2014 in Laguna Hills, CA. She enjoys doing all different types of yoga classes including hatha, restorative and anti-gravity yoga in addition to various at home fitness programs to stay in shape and keep stress at bay.
Samantha graduated from New Hampshire College with a degree in Accounting and works full time in accounting and is married and has two boys who both play basketball. She enjoys reading, attending concerts, traveling, writing and spending time with her family. She also has found a new interest in running. She has run a 5K and 10K with a goal to complete her first half marathon in November in Santa Barbara this fall.
