If you answered �yes� to one or both questions, Artistry of Yoga is a life-expanding program to deepen your insight of the essence of Yoga. It is a program designed for the sincere and dedicated Yoga practitioner who wishes to teach Yoga and/or broaden knowledge of this centuries-old practice.
The program includes 20 week sessions, excluding holidays. Classes will meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-10:00, and on Saturdays from 9:30-1:30 p.m. This will fulfill the requirement of 160 contact hours. Additionally, students will complete 20 hours of community teaching, and 20 hours of homework, readings, written assignments, and preparations for classes. The program includes ongoing and continuing mentoring from the instructors. The next training session will meet from January 9, 2019-May 25, 2019. There are three components to the training: Deepen, Expand, and Refine. The first 60 hours will deepen and expand your knowledge and application of Yoga Terminology and Techniques, Yoga Teaching Methodology, Anatomy and Physiology, Meditation, Ayurveda and Lifestyle, Practice Teaching, and Mentorship. The last 60 hours of contact will refine, and hone knowledge and skills of Yoga Specialty areas: Seniors, Kids, Injuries, Diseases, Restorative, Pregnancy, Yin, etc.. Our program is unique in the TemeculaValley, as it integrates refined teachings of Ayurveda, Meditation, Mentoring, and Specialty Yoga areas.
The training is limited to 10 students, so that individual mentoring from the faculty is enhanced. Our faculty includes: Deb Potts E-RYT 200 Owner of Yoga For Life, Leslie Salmon E-RYT 500 Anusara, and Sophie Malahieude RYT 500 Ayurveda. Consult the website Instructors page for full bios.
All requirements must be completed by 5/25/19 for application to Yoga Alliance for registration in 200-hour category.
