Yin Yoga

Are you in need of a deep, penetrating practice? Come try Yin yoga with Deb this Saturday from 8:15-9:15 a.m. We will focus on a limited number of asanas with stay for about 3 minutes per pose per side. This style of yoga stretches the connective tissues, including tendons, ligaments, and fascia. It creates a deeper penetration of range of motion, and flexibility point through the asanas. It is practiced in a warm environment. We will warm-up with Sun Salutes prior to the yin practice. See you Saturday.—Namaste’, Deb

Dancing Your Yoga

Greetings!!!

Welcome to our new YFL blog page!!! We will be sharing weekly events, class themes, and timely discussions about yoga, meditation, ayurveda, etc.

This week’s yoga practice theme is moving with the rhythm of music, breath, and asana. We are practicing to Prana Flow which coordinates the music beat with the pace and flow of our practice, and to increase our heart rate and aerobic capacity we are also using hand weights through certain segments. One of my students named this style of practice “ZOGA”. It is fun, energizing, and different!!! Come check it out.—Namaste’, Deb
