Classic Hatha Week: Let it flow, let it flow, let it flow!!!

Greetings from YFL!!! As we complete the month of March, our week’s practice will involve “Classic Hatha”: Let it flow, let it flow, let it flow!!! Thus, the physical practice will emphasize Vinyasa Flow, Power, Balance, and Fluid movement. The Sanskrit focus is AUM Laghu Bhavam, which is a mantra for invoking the energy of “lightness”, or “having the quality of space”. It affirms that our essential nature is lightness itself. Our supporting mudra is the grounding mudra for promoting stability, and connection. The meditation focus will be “Lightness”, and you may listen to Michael Hoppe’s “Starlight” music, while contemplating.

We look forward to a very busy April with the following activities: 4/7-Yoga for Grief, 1-3 p.m., with Sophie, $25, 4/9-4/30-Ayurvedic Yoga, 5-6 p.m., for four consecutive Monday evenings, with Sophie, $129, and Deb is currently taking registrants for her next Meditation I series, which meets on Tuesday evenings from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Please contact the studio via email, phone, or drop-in to pre-pay and register for these events.
