Greetings from YFL!!! Let’s Restore, Renew, and Relax this week!!! Yes, it is Triple ‘R’ time at YFL!!! Aaahhh!!! We will use lots of props, take long deep breaths, and release deeply into our asanas!!! Our Sanskrit focus is ‘SVADHYAYA’, or self meditation & reflection…to study one’s own self. Our mudra (hand gesture) is ‘DHARMACHAKRA’, or the ‘Wheel of Life’ mudra. It has a calming, soothing effect on all levels and imparts equanimity. Our meditation focus is ‘CALMNESS’, and may be reflected upon as we listen to Michael Hoppe’s ‘Wind Songs’, ‘Silence of the Stars’.
Our Yin practice will focus on opening the energy of the hips, and releasing tension from this very important joint in our bodies. It is ‘Happy Hips’ week for Yin!!!
Next week we celebrate YFL’s 13th anniversary!!! There will be treats, and door prizes all week, when you attend one of Deb’s classes!!! Come join the FUN, and bring a friend!!!
